The FBC Lindale Institute is designed for believers who desire to go beyond a basic understanding of Scripture and grow in theological depth. Through seminary-style instruction in a local church setting, the Institute offers rigorous, Bible-centered courses that strengthen both the mind and the heart.
Lindale Institute meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM. The class will meet in our "Alpha & Omega" Classroom which is located on the basement level of our main building (directly below the Worship Center). Each class session is 75-90 minutes in length. There is a recommended textbook, but it is not required to participate.

Dr. Earl Kellett serves as Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Shorter University and professor of Christian Studies. He has over twenty years’ experience teaching and equipping believers through Bible studies, and ministry training in both the academic and church settings. Dr. Kellett earned a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages, a Master of Theology, and a Ph.D. in New Testament and Greek from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as Associate Pastor of Airline Baptist in Metairie, Louisiana. He is dedicated to helping Christians develop a deeper understanding of Scripture and application biblical truth to everyday life. Through his teaching ministry, he seeks to make sound biblical scholarship accessible, practical, and spiritually enriching for believers of all backgrounds.
