Growth groups

Growth Groups aren't meant to be classes.  They are groups of people coming together to grow in their faith together.  They are opportunities for people to discover how the Bible speaks into our everyday lives and do so with a group of others looking to discover the same things.  Each group is led by people who desire to help you not only learn,

but apply the truth of the Bible to real life.

A NEW 5-WEEK SESSION OF GROWTH GROUPS BEGINS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17!

(Meeting Dates: October 17, 24, November 7, 14, and 21)

THIS SEMESTER, ALL OF OUR GROWTH GROUPS WILL MEET AT 4:30 PM.

During this time, our Preschoolers & Kids will be joining Mr. Ashton for "Treehouse Track Time", where they will be participating in a variety of outdoor recreation activities!

If you've missed being a part of one of these groups, check back here soon for information about new groups that will be forming. We'd love to have you join us!

  • MAN CHURCH 1.2 - "Integrity"

A "Man Church" Bible Study about our Identity in Christ

    Featuring teaching BY Rick Burgess

    SUNDAYS @ 4:30 PM

    A 5-WEEK STUDY FOR men

    GROUP LEADER: Eric Whelchel

To be a man of integrity is so much more than being a man who doesn’t lie. If we allow the definition of integrity to be oversimplified, we risk failing to become the man God desires for us to be.

To be a man of integrity is to be a man who is “undivided.” He is the same all the way through. He is a man who doesn’t follow one set of rules in one situation and another set in a different one. To have integrity as a man of God is to live your life inline with your faith. A man of integrity is a man who is consistent, steadfast, and true.

    Session Dates: October 17, 24, November 7, 14, 21

  • FORGIVING WHAT YOU CAN'T FORGET

Discover How to Move On, Make Peace with Painful Memories, and Create a Life That’s Beautiful Again

    Written By Lysa TerkeuRSt

    Sundays @ 4:30 PM

    A 5-week Study for LADIES

    Group Leader: Krushinda brannon

Have you ever felt stuck in a cycle of unresolved pain, playing offenses over and over in your mind? You know you can't go on like this, but you don't know what to do next. Lysa TerKeurst has wrestled through this journey. But in surprising ways, she’s discovered how to let go of bound-up resentment and overcome the resistance to forgiving people who aren’t willing to make things right.

During this study, you'll learn how to move on when the other person refuses to change and never says they're sorry.  You'll discover a process to free yourself from the hurt of your past and feel less offended today.  Most of all, we'll discover what the Bible really says about forgiveness and the peace that comes from living it out right now.

    Session Dates: October 17, 24, November 7, 14, 21

  • gospel above all

    Written by j.d. greear

    SUNDAYS @ 4:30 PM

    A 5-WEEK STUDY FOR 6-12 Grade STUDENTS

    GROUP LEADER: allen goodwin

People may think Christianity is dying, but this pronouncement is a little premature. Jesus promised to build His church, declaring that the gates of hell wouldn’t prevail against it. Along with this promise, Jesus gave clear instructions for how the church would overcome. He promised to build it on the rock of the gospel.

In this Bible study J. D. Greear examines what it means for believers to place the gospel above all other priorities in our lives and in our churches.

This Bible study will help you:

     • Overcome the temptation of worldly distractions and keep your focus on the gospel above all

     • Develop a greater awareness and engagement with gospel culture, gospel multiplication, gospel renewal, and gospel unity

     • Gain a fresh perspective on the greatness of the gospel above all other preferences and priorities

    Session Dates: October 17, 24, November 7, 14, 21
