Raising your kids to know and honor God in today's culture can be a huge challenge. We want to partner with parents to come along side them to help provide tools and opportunities to help their kids understand the great love and future God has for each of us. We look for every opportunity to introduce kids to Jesus and plant the seeds that will one day grown into a life-changing moment of decision to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives!
"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Here are some of the opportunities that are offered on a weekly basis to train your child in God’s Word while providing an atmosphere of fun and friendships! Please consider how each of these could be a part of your child’s life.
Sunday Morning Bible Study (Sunday School) – 9:45 AM
We have an amazing group of adults who pour their hearts into our Children’s Sunday School! There are age and grade- specific classes for all children from infants to 5th Grade. All our children’s small groups are co-ed gender except our 4th & 5th grade classes, which are divided into boys’ and girls’ classes. Each week is built to give children valuable time to interact with other children, enjoy a variety of learning activities, and be led in learning stories from God’s Word.
Treehouse Kids and Sprouts – Sundays @ 11:00 AM
We offer an opportunity for learning during our 11:00 AM Sunday morning worship services designed especially for kids. There are 2 groups available. Sprouts is for Preschoolers ages 4- 1st Grade. This group meets during our entire worship hour with games, music, & Bible stories. The second group is for 2nd- 5th grade boys & girls.
Treehouse Kids start with families and worship together, then have the option to exit with our volunteers to experience age-specific learning during the sermon. We know that many families choose to worship together and we encourage that as well so we offer the last Sunday of each month is Family Worship. Those 2nd- 5th graders will stay in worship and grow in the spiritual maturity through cooperate worship. Treehouse Kids are led by Ashton Hudson and the best group of Christ-like servant parents and adults, so children get to know several adults and experience different teaching styles. Sprouts meet in the Education Building (4-K) and Treehouse Kids meet in the Treehouse out by the playground.
Sunday Night Children’s & Preschool Choirs – 4:30-5:45 PM
One of the most powerful learning tools in the life of children is music. The principles communicated and learned through music can stay with a child for their entire lifetime. This is the driving purpose behind our Children’s and Preschool Choirs. Preschool Choir is open to children ages 4 through Kindergarten and meets on the first floor of our Education Building. They learn music through singing, games, and other musical activities. They also perform seasonally in our Sunday worship services. Our Children’s Choir is for children in grades 1-5. Our Children’s Choir is always preparing for one of two yearly musical productions that are performed each year, in the spring and at Christmas. We encourage all our families to involve their children in our choirs because we understand the memories and biblical learning that can take root and last a lifetime.
Growth Groups for Kids - 6:00-7:15 PM - Playground and Treehouse
Sunday evenings we offer Growth Groups for parents, so what better way to serve the whole family than to provide an opportunity for kids to grow as well. This time is a recreation and games based activity that is always brought back to scripture. The kids will play games and have a small biblical tie-in at the end of all the games where they can discuss what the games meant and how it connects back to Christ. This a great opportunity to learn more about God outside of a traditional Bible Study time. Ages 4 years to 5th Grade. Weekends of holidays or when the Adult Growth Groups do not meet the kids also will not meet. Come Join Us and Let's Have Some Fun.
Branches Out with Treehouse Kids – 6:30-8:00 PM – Ed. Building
Our mid-week program for kids includes everything from snacks to Bible learning! A dedicated team of adults come each week to share with the kids a variety of activities including snacks, recreational activities, music, and Bible learning. It’s a great break in the week and opportunity for kids to reconnect with each other at church while reinforcing their minds with God’s Word. The learning is usually themed and children are working through a particular set of truths or scripture over the course of several weeks! We would love the chance to share Wednesdays with them while the rest of your family participates in student ministry, Celebration Choir, or Bible study with our Pastor.
