Growth groups

Growth Groups aren't meant to be classes.  They are groups of people coming together to grow in their faith together.  They are opportunities for people to discover how the Bible speaks into our everyday lives and do so with a group of others looking to discover the same things.  Each group is led by people who desire to help you not only learn, but apply the truth of the Bible to real life.  Below you'll find groups that are beginning on Sunday, October 21.

During our 6:00 PM Growth Group, we'll also be offering Growth Groups for KIDS!  While Mom & Dad are growing, kids 5th grade and younger will be learning together through fun games and recreation that help them experience and understand spiritual truths.

If you've missed being a part of one of these groups, check back here soon for information about new groups that will be forming for our first Winter cycle that will begin on Sunday, January 13.  We'd love to have you join us!

a revolutionary look at heaven & the coming kingdom

    sundays @ 4:30 PM

A 5-week study for adults  - written by John Eldredge

    Group Leader: Eric Whelchel

Most Christians miss the ultimate hope for their future because their views of heaven are vague, religious, and, frankly...boring. Hope begins when we understand that for the believer, nothing is lost. Heaven is not an endless life of harp strumming and worship singing in the clouds. Rather, the life we long for – the paradise Adam and Eve knew – is precisely the life that is coming to us. And that life is coming soon.

In this five-session study, John Eldredge explores the revolutionary idea that according to the Bible, heaven is not our eternal home – the New Earth is. Jesus said the next chapter of our story begins with “the renewal of all things” (Matthew 19:28), by which he meant the earth we love, ourselves, and all the things that make for a rich life: music, art, food, and laughter. God’s promise is that everything shall be renewed “when the world is made new.”

Part devotional, part adventure story, part field manual, this study will help you see the glorious future coming to you and provide “hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” (Hebrews 6:19).

  • half truths:

God helps those who help themselves & others things the Bible doesn't say

    SUNDAYS @ 6:00 PM

A 5-WEEK STUDY for adults & TEENS - WRITTEN BY adam hamilton

    GROUP LEADER: Dr. Earl Kellett

They are simple phrases. They sound Christian—like something you might find in the Bible. We’ve all heard these words. Maybe we’ve said them. They capture some element of truth, yet they miss the point in important ways.   Join Adam Hamilton in searching for the whole truth by comparing common Christian clichés to the message and ministry of Jesus.

    The clichés include:

    Everything happens for a reason.

God helps those who help themselves.

God won’t give you more than you can handle.

God said it, I believe it, that settles it.

Love the sinner, hate the sin.

Hang tight while we prepare your form...
